Who is eligible for the program?

First-time homebuyers looking to reduce their mortgage insurance fees have the opportunity to do so through the FHA’s Pilot HAWK Program.

What is HAWK?
HAWK stands for Homeowners Armed With Knowledge, a three-part program allowing first-time homebuyers to shrink the size of their FHA mortgage insurance by participating in housing counseling and education programs. Educating homeowners on their mortgage will involve pre-contract education, counseling and post purchase counseling.

Where can homebuyers partake in the program?
